The overgrown seaweed in this desolate world and half-melted remains of buildings provide lots of cover for potential ambushes and hidden movement. Indeed most targeting systems can also be disrupted by staying below the top of the vast seaweed forest. However, you won't be able to hide your bases as easily, and you may well have to peak out from the overgrowth eventually.

After the nuclear siege of its population and the Great Drowning caused by the destruction of its polar ice caps, the former ecumenopolis New Berlin is now little more than a graveyard. Only the shattered shells of its once enormously tall “space-scrapers” barely breaking the water's surface provide a clue that this was once the galactic capital. The rubble and corpses do, however, provide fertile ground for the seaweed that has inherited this planet.
